Education Delegation from Thailand Visits Our University

On the morning of December 20, a delegation consisting of representatives and teachers from the Nakhon Pathom Secondary Educational Service Area, Watklongtakai School Nonthaburi Primary Education Service Area, and Secondary Education Service Area Offices in Thailand visited China Jiliang University for an exchange. Staff from the International Office and the School of International Education held a meeting with the delegation in Meeting Room A216 of Mingde Building. The meeting was chaired by Wang Jianqi, Director of the International Office.

During the meeting, the Thai representatives gave a comprehensive overview of the student profiles, teacher-student exchange activities, and other key aspects of schools within their educational service areas. The discussions focused on short-term study programs, the deployment of Chinese language teachers, and cultural and educational exchange initiatives. The delegation expressed their hope to establish a long-term, stable partnership with the university and looked forward to exploring broader and more diverse opportunities for collaboration in the future.

Wu Hongkuan, Dean of the School of International Education, provided an introduction to the admission requirements for both degree and non-degree students, as well as detailed information on the costs of exchange programs. He encouraged the Thai representatives to actively promote study opportunities at the university to Thai students.

After the meeting, Vice President Wang Binrui warmly welcomed the delegation and further discussed prospects for collaboration in education. The delegation also toured the university’s Metrology Museum and campus, gaining a deeper appreciation of its cultural heritage and academic strengths.

This visit enhanced mutual understanding and friendship between China and Thailand, laying a solid foundation for deeper collaboration between China Jiliang University and Thailand’s education system. It also created new opportunities for educational cooperation between the two countries.
