President Mathew spoke highly of CJLU's achievements in the field of metrology. He remarked that this visit left a profound impression on him, particularly the university's active efforts and practices in promoting metrology culture. From the construction of the Metrology Museum to the metrology elements embedded throughout the campus environment, CJLU vividly demonstrates its deep professional foundation and rich cultural heritage. He expressed hope that more universities and international organizations could draw inspiration from CJLU's successful practices to further strengthen the dissemination and exchange of metrology culture, and jointly contribute to building a more scientific, standardized, and collaborative global metrology governance system.

At the subsequent appointment ceremony, Secretary Xu Jiangrong presented President Bobjoseph Mathew with a certificate of appointment as a visiting professor and a commemorative gift on behalf of the university. The lecture was conducted in a warm and engaging atmosphere, with President Mathew interacting closely with the students and patiently answering their professional questions.

This visit has not only deepened the cooperation and exchanges between CJLU and the International Organization of Legal Metrology but also provided a solid platform for the university to further expand its international cooperation and promote pragmatic collaborations. CJLU will take this opportunity to actively integrate into the global metrology development landscape, deepen its collaboration with OIML and other international organizations in standard co-construction, talent cultivation, and research cooperation, and continuously enhance the quality of international exchanges and cooperation in the field of metrology, contributing sustainable Chinese solutions and practices to the modernization of the global metrology governance system.
