Research Institute of Industry and Trade Metrology was founded in 2014. For more than 10 years, the research institute has established a solid foundation in instrument development by promoting the deep integration of scientific research and industrial applications, based on the needs of industry and life. The research institute has been funded by the national major scientific research and development projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the national major scientific instruments and equipment development project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the national public welfare project. The research institute is mainly committed to temperature measurement and occurrence, design and manufacture of extreme condition reactors, instrument system integration, data analysis, nondestructive testing and other research. It mainly provides customized research platforms for pharmaceuticals, new materials, lithium batteries, green carbon science and other fields. The research includes indicating the recombination process of molecules in chemical reactions, testing the safety performance of heated chemicals, exploring the triggers for material combustion explosions, and testing the thermal properties of the materials. The research institute has developed ARC, reaction calorimeter, vapor pressure meter, flash point meter, etc., which has been widely used.
