The Research Institute of Energy Engineering was established in 2002. The Research Institute is committed to the utilization and efficient conversion of clean energy, energy measurement and testing, material thermal property measurement and testing, basic research and engineering application of soil restoration. The Research Institute owns Zhejiang province Renewable Energy and Flow Test Laboratory, Air Conditioner Energy Storage and Energy Saving Key Laboratory (participation). There are currently more than 40 graduate students. In the past five years, The Research Institute has undertaken or participated in 10 national natural science fund projects,1 national key research and development project (with 3 sub-projects), 7 provincial and misterial level projects, and more than 180 projects collaborating with domestic enterprises and institutions. The Research Institute won 1 science and technology achievement award at the provincial and misterial level. Researchers have published more than 20 high level papers, and participated in the development of 1 national standard and1 industry standard.
