Based on the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefits and win-win cooperation, and coordinated development", in April 2020, China Jiliang University and the Administrative Committee of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone signed an agreement to jointly build the "Yantai Standards Innovation Center of China Jiliang University ". According to the agreement, the Jialiang Standards Technology Consulting and Research Center (Jialiang Standards in short) in Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone under the Yantai Standards Innovation Center of China Jiliang University was registered on July 29, 2020, with its office addressed at Tower B, Yeda Smart Valley Incubator, No. 300, Changjiang Road, Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is a research and development institution engaged in industrial technology research and development, various standards development at all levels, standards technology training and promotion, and boosting the standardization development of Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone. The center has a R&D team of more than 10 people composed of professors, associate professors, young doctors, graduate students and enterprise practice instructors, including 8 R&D personnel and 2 technical service personnel. It is mainly engaged in the research and development of national standards, industrial standards and group standards in various fields. At present, researchers of the center have developed 6 national standards and 7 draft national standards for comments, published 3 group standards, and initiated 2 national standards, 2 industrial standards, 2 local standards and 1 group standard. The center has signed industry-university-research cooperation agreements with 8 enterprises. Three experts from Zhejiang University were appointed as employment tutors for college students.
