China Jiliang University (CJLU) supports the strategic cooperation between Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) based on the MoU signed between ISO and SAC to support the participation in international standardization activities of China’s stakeholders in 2011. CJLU has been jointly carrying out international standardization personnel training activities with SAC and ISO since 2012. The training activities are mainly for Chinese professionals who work as chairpersons, conveners, committee managers, etc. at international standardization technical bodies, and Chinese managers for international standardization. More than 300 trainees have come to CJLU to participate in various training sessions. The training activities promote the level of China's international standardization, accelerate the construction of China's international standardization talent team. On the basis of CJLU's efforts, ISO established ISO International Standardization Training Base (Hangzhou) in China Jiliang University in 2018, which is the second ISO International Standardization Training Base established in the world. The establishment of the base is beneficial to the further development of China's international cooperation and exchanges in standardization, and Chinese technical workers' active participation in the development of international standards. It is helpful to the training of a number of international standardization professionals, who will become the direct implementers, participants and promoters of China's international standardization work.
