In order to realize synergistic development of national quality, standardization and intellectual property management, Zhejiang 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center- Standardization and Intellectual Property Management positions itself at the frontier of standardization and intellectual property development, and aims to make contributions to the implementation of "strong standards, strong quality and strong brands" of Zhejiang province, and sustainable development of Zhejiang economy. China Jiliang University took the lead in establishment of the university-level Collaborative Innovation Center in 2013 based on Zhejiang Province Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base "Standardization and Intellectual Property Management", Zhejiang Province Public Science and Technology Innovation Service Platform "Standards Information and Quality Safety", and Zhejiang Province Key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Sciences "Zhejiang Provincial Industrial Development Policy Research Center". It was recognized among the third batch of collaborative innovation centers in Zhejiang province in 2015, and passed the acceptance check in November 2019.
Through focusing on quality management, standardization and intellectual property, the center carries out scientific research on micro-quality research, supplemented by macro-quality research. The center strives to become a cradle for talent training in quality, standardization and intellectual property management, a base for theoretical research, a booster for industrial transformation and upgrading, and a source of radiation for ideas and culture, and a think tank of government and society.
