On November 12, a 4-person delegtation led by Mr. Jimmy Hwong, Vice President and General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Region, Flucke Corporation visited CJLU. This is the second time for Fluke to visit CJLU. Prof. Lin Jianzhong, President of CJLU, and Prof. Jiang Jiaxin, Vice President of CJLU, warmly welcomed the guests. President Lin gave a brief introduction of CJLU to the guests followed by heated discussions for mutual cooperation. The heads of CJLU’s Science and Technology Division, International Exchange & Cooperation Division, Students’ Affairs Division, Teaching Affairs Division, College of Metrology & Measurement Engineering and College of Mechatronics Engineering attended the meeting.
Mr. Jimmy Hwong introduced Fluke Corporation to the CJLU partners and recalled the historical cooperation between FLUKE and CJLU. He also mentioned that several graduates of CJLU have been performing outstandingly at FLUKE and have become significant members of FLUKE. Both sides proposed ideas about the future “extensive and comprehensive cooperation” between FLUKE and CJLU. Cooperative issues cover the building of co-laboratories, the design of measurement curriculum and courses, the building of students’ training bases, and so on.
Accompanied by the president , the Fluke guests visited a few of CJLU’s laboratories. This visit puts the elaboration of the mutual cooperative plan on the agenda.
