On October 11, a 3-person delegtation led by Mr. Liu Zuyou, General Manager of Precision Measurement Group, Fluke Corporation visited CJLU. Prof. Lin Jianzhong, President of CJLU, and Prof. Jiang Jiaxin, Vice President of CJLU, warmly welcomed the guests. President Lin gave a brief introduction of CJLU to the guests followed by heated discussions for mutual cooperation. The heads of CJLU’s Science and Technology Division, International Exchange & Cooperation Division, College of Mechatronics Engineering, College of Metrology and Measurement Engineering, College of Information Engineering, and College of Materials Science and Engineering attended the meeting.
The guests from FLUKE introduced Fluke Corporation to the CJLU partners. They discussed the problems and development trends of measurement technology in global research, industries and education. Both sides proposed ideas about the future “extensive and comprehensive cooperation” between FLUKE and CJLU. Cooperative issues cover the building of co-laboratories, the design of measurement curriculum and courses, the building of students’ training bases, and so on. President Lin agreed with FLUKE’s proposals and suggestions in relation to the specific modes and steps of cooperation. Both sides agreed to further elaborate details of the mutual cooperative plan.
Accompanied by Prof. Jiang Jiaxin, the FLUKE guests visited CJLU’s State Magnetic Materials Quality Supervision & Inspection Center (Zhejiang), College of Metrology & Measurement Engineering, and Zhejiang Province “Key of the Key” Laboratory (Lab of Instrumentation Science and Technology).
This visit lays a good foundation for the future cooperation between FLUKE Corporation and CJLU.
