On April 17, Dr. Luo Guangbin, molecular genetics expert from University of Illinois, U.S.A. was invited by the College of Life Science to come to our school,.He presented an academic lecture, named Modern Molecular Biology and Individual Therapy for Phyma. The lecture was praised over by Prof. Li Sufang. Over one hundred faculties and students listened to this lecture.
Dr. Luo Guangbin not only presented to us the study progress on Modern Molecular Biology in 21st Century, the direction of development of molecular biology, also told us about the formation of phyma and the therapeutic relationship between the phyma and camptothecin in details. All the faculty and students who attended the lecture thought it had undoubtedly given them a guide in future research work and study.
