The agreement of Cooperation signed between College of Modern Science and Technology and Herzing College of U.S.A. on March 7. Prof. Liu Xintao from Herzing College, Prof. Houyu, Vice-President of CJLU, Wu Hongkuan, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Division, Prof. Zheng Yingjun, Dean of College of Modern Science and Technology, Gao Lingmei, Party Secretary of College of Modern Science and Technology, as well as Vice-Dean Prof. Liu Dajian participated in this ceremony. On behalf of CJLU, Prof. Zheng Yingjun signed the agreement with Prof. Liu Xintao.
According to the agreement, both schools stick to the principle of resource sharing and complementing each other’s advantages. At the same time, on the basis of cross-crediting, we established “two plus two” teaching model, when students graduate, they will obtain dual bachelor degree. This kind of teaching model only implements in four majors, which is “Financial Management”, “Business Management”, “International Trade”, “Computer Science”. Students from College of Modern Science and Technology complete their first two-year study in CJLU, also meet the requirements to study abroad. They can apply for studying in Herzing College. After graduation, they not only obtain the Bachelor Degree from CJLU, but also from Herzing College in U.S.A.
As for the College of Modern Science and Technology, this is the first attempt for seeking for co-operative partnership with other schools. With the successful signing ceremony, we may consider it has far-reaching significance in developing innovated education model, deepening teaching reform, promoting professional competence, enhancing faculty quality as well as expanding ways to cultivate talents.
