On May 25, a delegation including Philippe Gaboriau, mayor of Dompierre-sur-Yon; Françoise Raynaud, vice president of Roche-sur-Yon Urban Agglomeration; Sebastien Jacotin, director of International Office of IUT of Nantes; Frédéric Gaboriau, director of study of Department of Enterprise Management and Administration in IUT of Nantes visited China Jiliang University (CJLU). Yu Xiaoping, vice president of CJLU met with the delegation. Zhao Zili, deputy dean of College of International Education and director of Hangzhou-Dresden Liaison Office; Li Hongliang, deputy director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office; and Shen Changyu, deputy dean of College of Optical and Electronic Technology attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the two universities exchanged basic information of their universities and expressed great willingness for cooperation. Both universities hope to launch cooperation in the four disciplines of information technology, arts and communication, optical and electronic technology and economics and management. The cooperation may include scientific and research exchanges of faculty members, and student mobility. After the meeting, the delegation talked enthusiastically with the French students at CJLU and had a better understanding of international education of CJLU.
The two universities will maintain communication and promote the implementation of the cooperation after the visit.
