On May 26, a delegation of Spanish universities on Madrid-Yiwu Discovery Journey visited China Jiliang University (CJLU). The delegation of 7 persons include Wang Centing, secretary-general of Yiwu-Spain Exchange Foundation; Guillermo Arce Ballesteros, associate dean of International Relations of Universidad Francisco de Victoria(UFV); Vicente Fco. Valverde González, director of language center of The Technical University of Madrid (UPM); Li Lu, head for Asia Market of Distance Universityof Madrid (UDIMA); Maria Mar Soliño Pazó, associate dean ofFaculty of languages ofSalamanca University (USAL), etc. They were invited to come to CJLU for communication and cooperation during their visit toZhejiang province.
Ge Hongliang, vice president of CJLU met with the delegation. Directors and deans from International Exchange and Cooperation Office, College of International Education, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Metrology and Measurement Engineering, College of Optical and Electronic Technology, College of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Economics and Management, College of Law, College of Humanities and Foreign Languages attended the meeting. Wu Hongkuan, dean of College of International Education introduced basic information of CJLU to the delegation. The delegation expressed strong willingness for cooperation in aspects such as exchanges of faculty members and students, research collaboration, and jointly building teaching centers, and had an in-depth communication with relative colleges separately. This visit established preliminary contact for the universities and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between CJLU and Spanish universities.
