Recently, Education Department of Zhejiang Province published the accreditation results of Excellent Undergraduate Open Online Courses, First-class Undergraduate Offline Courses, First-class Blended Online-Offline Courses and First-class Social Practice Courses for Institutions of Higher Learning of Zhejiang Province in 2019. Twenty-five courses of CJLU are on the list, including 5 First-class Online Courses such as “Circuit & Electronic Technology Experiment” and “Quality Management”, 13 First-class Offline Courses such as “Engineering Graphics” and “Mechanical Design”, and 7 First-class Blended Online-Offline Courses such as “Principle of Electrical System’s Relay Protection” and “Communication Circuit”.
The first-class undergraduate courses are the backbone of first-class undergraduate education. In order to fully carry out the building of first-class undergraduate courses, the Ministry of Education of China implemented the "Double 10,000 Program" of first-class undergraduate courses in 2019, which means that it will take about three years to complete the building of about 10,000 first-class undergraduate courses both at the national level and provincial level. The accreditation of provincial first-class courses is an important measure to implement the strategy of strengthening the province in higher education and the "Double 10,000 Program" of first-class undergraduate courses of the Ministry of Education. With modern teaching concepts as guidance, teaching content optimization as the core, teaching mode innovation as the means, teaching team development as the foundation, and modern information technology as the support, CJLU will focus on the building of first-class majors and first-class distinctive courses and further improve the teaching quality.
