On the morning of March 14, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between CJLU and Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs is held at A213 Mingde Building. Song Yueqian, director of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs and Xu Jiangrong, president of CJLU attended the signing ceremony and delivered addresses. Chang Liang, deputy director of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs and Ge Hongliang, vice president of CJLU signed the agreement as representatives. Heads of relevant departments of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs, and heads of Sci-Tech Research Institute, College of Life Sciences, College of Further Education of CJLU attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was moderated by head of Liaison Office of CJLU.
Xu Jiangrong warmly welcomed the delegation headed by Song Yueqian on behalf of CJLU. He briefly introduced CJLU. He pointed out that CJLU adheres to the spirit of the important instructions of Comrade Xi Jinping when he inspected the university in 2004. Through insisting to “the old business”, CJLU serves economic and social development with characteristic education. He said that the establishment of strategic cooperative relationship between CJLU and Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs to carry out strategic cooperation in scientific research and application promotion, personnel training, exchange and cooperation, resource sharing and other aspects can effectively give play to the characteristics and advantages of both sides in their respective fields, and promote the level of scientific research and personnel training of both sides. We will work together to promote the construction of modern customs and the development of metrology.
Song Yueqian expressed his sincere appreciation for CJLU’s achievements in metrology, standards, quality, market regulation, inspection and quarantine. He said that Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs and CJLU have carried out cooperation in areas such as sci-tech projects, standards development, and joint talent training previously, which has achieved good results. He hoped that the two sides could take this strategic cooperation as a new starting point to strengthen in-depth cooperation in the key technologies of animal and plant inspection and quarantine, new detection means and methods, construction of national metrological system, joint student training and other fields, so as to enhance the scientific and technological innovation capability of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs and help maintain national security.
Chang Liang presents a comprehensive introduction of Science and Technology Research Center of China Customs from the aspects of development orientation, talent team, scientific research and innovation, qualification and testing ability, technical support, etc. Participants from both sides exchanged views on the cooperation.
Before the meeting, the delegation visited Metrology Museum and Zhejiang Province Key Laboratory of Biometrics, Inspection and Quarantine.
