On the morning of April 23, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between China Jiliang University (CJLU) and Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation is held at Floor 1 meeting room of Wen Hall. Ji Zhengkun, former director of Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China and member of the National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee; Tie Gang, party secretary and director of Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation; and Xu Jiangrong, president of CJLU attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Wang Jun, deputy director of Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, heads of relevant divisions of Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, and heads of relevant divisions and colleges of CJLU attended the ceremony. Ge Hongliang, vice president of CJLU chaired the ceremony.
Xu Jiangrong pointed out that the signing of the cooperation agreement between CJLU and Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation is not only an important action to align ourselves with the new development stage, fully implement new development concept, and promote high-quality development of market regulation, but also an active exploration by the two sides to pool superior resources and promote cooperation between government, industry, university, research and application. In the future, the two sides will cooperate extensively in such areas as comprehensive market regulation, business environment optimization, intellectual property innovation, special equipment safety, standardization system construction, quality and brand improvement, and measurement and testing services for pillar industries. The two sides will jointly carry out in-depth cooperation in the construction of scientific research and service platform, scientific research and achievement transformation, talent cultivation, teaching and training, student practice and other aspects to achieve win-win development.
Tie Gang stated that the establishment of a free trade port with Chinese characteristics in Hainan province is a strategic decision personally planned, deployed and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping. At present, Hainan is making all-out efforts to promote the island-wide independent customs operations. Hainan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation is focusing on the construction of quality supply, quality service and quality management systems in line with international high-level economic and trade rules. The two sides have huge potential and broad space for cooperation. This strategic cooperation is an important measure to thoroughly implement the outline to improve quality of development and an initiative to strengthen national quality infrastructure construction. The two sides will leverage their respective advantages to establish a close cooperative relationship, and carry out long-term, stable and comprehensive cooperation on personnel training and exchange, reform and innovation, achievement transformation, research, and think tank services, so as to jointly promote higher quality development of market regulation in Hainan, and contribute to the high quality and high standard construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
