Recently, the Ministry of Education issued evaluation result of Chinese-foreign collaborative education institutions and programs. The Master of Analytics program collaborated by China Jiliang University (CJLU) and Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand was approved, becoming the first Chinese-foreign collaborative program at master’s degree level at CJLU. The Master of Analytics program is one of the 5 master’s degree programs approved.
The Master of Analytics program is the first excellent master program in Analytics in New Zealand. It is offered by the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, which is the biggest and strongest school in Auckland University of Technology. The school owns world-class teaching and student service facilities, strong faculty, internationally acknowledged teaching quality and research level, which is among the best in New Zealand.
The program aims to develop high-level data analysis professionals with advanced data analysis, database and interdisciplinary skills, as well as the latest theories, tools and techniques of statistical modeling and mathematical simulation, and with an international perspective. The program adopts independent enrollment and lasts for 1.5 years, which is completed at CJLU. Excellent teachers in the field of analytics of the two universities jointly undertake the teaching tasks.
