The delegation included Zhu Yifei, Dean of the Law School; Chao Ling, Party Secretary of the School of Continuing Education; Shan Liang, Associate Dean of the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering; and Lu Di from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings and discussions with relevant officials and professors from Luiss University, Università degli Studi di ROMA, the University of Camerino, and the ESIEE Paris. They toured the campuses, libraries, and laboratories of these institutions and met with alumni representatives from our university in Rome and Paris. Additionally, at the request of the university's Talent Office, the delegation organized a recruitment fair for overseas Chinese students in Rome, which received an enthusiastic response from the students.
During the visits, Vice Secretary Cheng Gang provided detailed introductions to China Jiliang University’s overall situation. He engaged in discussions with the host universities on promoting student exchanges, faculty visits, and joint research initiatives. These universities expressed a strong desire to strengthen collaboration, indicating their interest in further discussing the specifics of cooperation based on their respective academic strengths and institutional characteristics. They also showed enthusiasm for exploring the possibility of jointly applying for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, with the goal of signing cooperation memorandums soon and establishing long-term collaboration mechanisms.
This visit has successfully deepened our university's exchanges and collaborations with the partner universities, advancing our international cooperation, key discipline development, talent cultivation reforms, and high-quality development in continuing education. Particularly following President Xi Jinping's recent visit to France, this delegation's visit actively implemented the important consensus reached by the two heads of state to "promote cooperation between the two countries in education, sports, film and television, youth, and local affairs". The visit fostered collaboration in the fields of education and youth, expanded our university's network and reputation among European universities and strengthened mutual trust and friendship with partner institutions.
