The major of Intellectual Property is the most featured major in the School of Law (School of Intellectual Property). It was approved in 2005 and started to enroll students in 2006, which is among the first batch of undergraduate majors of intellectual property in Zhejiang Province. In 2014, the major was approved as a Zhejiang provincial emerging major. In 2017, it was approved as a characteristic major in Zhejiang province during the 13th Five-Year Plan. In 2019, it was selected as a Zhejiang provincial first-class undergraduate major. In the “2014-2015 Ranking for Major of Intellectual Property in China Undergraduate Universities”, it ranked first among the 35 universities in China that offer the major of intellectual property, and it is the only major of intellectual property that has been awarded five stars. In "2019 China Top Law Majors Ranking" released by Airuishen Alumni Network, this major were awarded six stars and ranked first in China. In 2021, the major of intellectual property was approved as a national first-class undergraduate major, which is among the first batch in China and the only national first-class undergraduate major of intellectual property in Zhejiang province.
