Aiming at the key common technical problems in the field of functional materials measurement technology and instruments, the main objectives of the Rare Earth Magnetic/Photoelectric Functional Materials Engineering Laboratory of Zhejiang Province are to develop high-performance functional materials and reliable material measurement technology, and to establish the Measurement standards and perfect measurement traceability system of functional materials in China. It has four laboratories: chemical composition and microstructure measurement technology and instrument laboratory, magnetic functional materials measurement technology and instrument laboratory, optical functional materials measurement technology and instrument laboratory, and electrical functional materials measurement technology and instrument laboratory. The engineering laboratory has presided over and undertaken a number of national and provincial scientific research projects. and successfully developed high-performance distributed optical fiber raman temperature sensor, LED street lamp, emergency lamp, soft magnetic ferrite and other products, for the innovation system construction of functional materials measurement technology and instrument and sustainable development of the industry to provide demonstration guidance and scientific and technological support. The engineering laboratory has a group of high-level research and development team and a series of sophisticated instruments and testing equipment, which can provide academic, technical and equipment support for undergraduate and graduate students' teaching and experiments, and help cultivate high-level talents.
