On June 21, a delegation from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) led by Professor Ismail Abdul Rahman, deputy vice-chancellor of UTHM visited CJLU. The delegation members include Dr. Azizul Azhar bin Ramli, dean of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology; Dr. Zailin Shah binti Yusoff, dean of Centre for Language Studies; and Associate Professor Mohd Haziman bin Wan Ibrahim, deputy dean of Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Song Mingshun, president of CJLU met with the delegation. Heads of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, College of International Education, College of Humanities and Foreign Languages, College of Quality and Safety Engineering, and College of Information Engineering attended the meeting.
President Song Mingshun welcomed the delegation, hoping that the two universities may enhance mutual understanding and explore possible areas for cooperation. During the meeting, the two universities introduced their universities and expressed willingness for cooperation. Both universities agree that they have many disciplines in common, which provides great potential for cooperation. The cooperation is agreed to begin with exchanges of teachers and students for scientific research cooperation and mutual learning. Then members of the delegation had in-depth communication with the attendees from corresponding colleges of CJLU individually. With this visit, both universities have established preliminary contact and cooperation willingness, which has laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between CJLU and UTHM.
