On the morning of March 17, a delegation of 4 people led by Michael Dian Zhang, Counsellor of New Zealand Embassy Beijing visited China Jiliang University (CJLU). Xu Jiangrong, President of CJLU met with the delegation. Heads of International Exchange & Cooperation Office and College of Information Engineering attended the meeting.
During the meeting, President Xu Jiangrong introduced CJLU, and hoped that New Zealand Embassy Beijing continued to support CJLU’s cooperation with universities in New Zealand. Head of College of Information Engineering introduced the collaborative programme of computer science and technology with Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
Counsellor Michael Dian Zhang introduced New Zealand education and shared his experience as counsellor. He highly praised the collaborative programme between CJLU and AUT. The two sides also talked about the arrangement of students' summer exchange activities in New Zealand, visa and other issues. After the meeting, the delegation visited the Metrology Museum and learned more about development of metrology.
The visit of the delegation has enhanced their understanding of our university, and will help CJLU to deepen the cooperation in education and scientific research with AUT, and promote the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities at a higher level.
