On March 30, the first China Standardization Conference, co-hosted by China Association for Standardization, Nanjing Municipal People's Government and Jiangsu Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, was held at IEC International Standards Promotion Center (Nanjing). During the conference, the awarding ceremony of 2022 China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award was held. China Jiliang University (CJLU) was awarded the Organization Award of China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award, making it become one of the 4 winners.
China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award is the highest national award in the standardization field, aiming to honor organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to standardization activities. The award is presented every two years.
CJLU is a multidisciplinary university distinctive for its metrology, standards, quality, market regulation, inspection and quarantine. It is jointly supported by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province and the State Administration for Market Regulation. Sticking to the educational philosophy of “Metrology as University’s Cornerstone, Standards as its Code of Conduct, and Quality as its Career Goal”, CJLU has authorization to confer doctoral degrees and authorization to confer master’s degree in the field of standardization. Standardization education has been integrated to the 49 bachelor’s degree majors. CJLU won the inaugural “ISO Award for Higher Education in Standardization”.
This award is a high recognition of CJLU’s insistence on the concept of running a school with characteristics, and outstanding achievements CJLU has made.
