On the morning of April 8, Dr. Qingping Yang from the College of Engineering, Design, and Physical Sciences at Brunel University London visited our university. The delegation was welcomed by Vice President Wang Binrui, who chaired the meeting in the A216 conference room of Mingde Building. The meeting was attended by representatives from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Science and Technology Office, Development and Planning Office, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the College of Quality and Standards.
During the meeting, both parties provided an overview of the development history, academic programs, and course structures of each universities.They conducted an in-depth discussion on potential collaborations in advanced manufacturing and quality engineering, summer camp programs, and the "1+1+1" dual degree graduate programs. Additionally, they explored the feasibility of jointly applying for a Sino-foreign cooperative master's program in Control Science and Engineering. Vice President Wang Binrui highlighted the strong alignment between the two universities’ engineering disciplines and research directions, expressing optimism about the significant potential for collaboration and encouraging the use of each institution's unique strengths to foster comprehensive partnerships.
